3. What is the current lead time for rifle builds and components?
a. Triton MFG parts are in high demand. Depending on the availability of parts turnaround times may vary depending on whether a full build is requested or certain components are desired. We do our best to keep items in stock. In stock items usually ship same or next business day. Rifle build turnaround times may vary. Please inquire at our Contact Us page regarding current lead times.
4. WILL Triton MFG parts and other components work with my rifle build?
a. Yes, they are built to mil-specs and should interchange with other mil-spec brands
5. What caliber are your rifles chambered in?
a. Currently, uppers utilize barrels chambered in 5.56 NATO and 300BLK. Custom rifle builds can be accommodated in caliber of choice provided the parts availability. Please utilize the Contact Us for build inquires.
6. Is there a difference between 5.56mm and .223?
a. External dimensions being identical 5.56 NATO ammunition is a higher pressure round than commercial .223. If your rifle is chambered in .223 only .223 should be used. If your rifle is chambered in 5.56 NATO it is safe to fire both .223 and 5.56 NATO.
7. Will my 300BLK Upper work with 556 lower?
a. Yes, the same magazines, same lower, same BCG, same charging handle , and different barrel(300BLK).
